Men's Belay Pants from Black Diamond are warm pants for men designed to be worn over shell pants. The pants are insulated with Primaloft Gold Crosscore insulation and Primaloft Rise insulation. The pants stay warm even when wet, thanks to 50D PFC-free ripstop shell with a 20D nylon taffeta liner. These can be easily compressed in your pack, and they also have a full-length zipper making it easy to take them on and off while wearing crampons. An integrated adjustable belt allows you to adjust the fit even when you have multiple layers.
